OK Lets Go
Once you have chosen the location for your new WiFi access point, position your wall mounting bracket against the wall, ensuring the locking tab is facing up and mark the screw holes with a pencil.
Drill the marked holes using a 6mm drill bit.
**If you are not running your ethernet cable inside the wall, proceed to step 5**
(OPTIONAL) If you plan to run your ethernet cable inside the wall, mark a hole just underneath where the mounting bracket will be when in position.
Drill the marked whole using an 18mm drill bit. Now is the time to pull the ethernet cable through the 18mm hole you drilled, ready for connecting to your WiFi access point.
Place the screw anchors into the 6mm holes you drilled out and screw the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws provided, ensuring the locking tab is facing up.
If you chose not to run your ethernet cable inside the wall then remove the cable feed plug and ensure the ethernet cable sits in this recess when affixing the WiFi access point to the wall mount.
Connect the ethernet cable into the ethernet port on your WiFi access point.
Position your WiFi access point on top of the mounting plate ensuring that the arrow on the lip of the WiFi access point is inline with the locking tab of the mounting plate.
Turn the WiFi access point clockwise 20 degrees until you hear the locking tab click into place, this completes the mounting of your WiFi access point, refer to the Quick & Easy Setup guide for connectivity instructions by visiting our article on Quick & Easy Hardware Setup.
